Hoofpicks Represents well at District 8 Roundup!

Great new from the District 8 Roundup at the TSTC campus in Waco !

Lauren Bergman finished in first place in the intermediate division with her "Horse" educational presentation over "Reigning" that we all enjoyed recently in the monthly Hoofpicks meeting.

Aubrey-Ann Gilmore placed third among senior division presenters with a "Horse" educational presentation about the growing population and causes of "Unwanted Horses."
Can we make room to hear this presentation at this month's club meeting to help Aubrey-Ann prepare for competition at the State Roundup in College Station (A&M) this June?

As you know, both girls are involved in the Horse 101 project group that meets every Thursday evening at 6:30 in the show barn's kitchen area for public speaking and hippology practice.  As their sponsor, I am very proud of their outstanding presentation skills as well as wonderful grace and character each of these girls exhibited under pressure today!

It's not too late for other Hoofpicks members to join us each Thursday through July.  There should be an official Hippology,  state-wide competition next August, so we have a great start and plenty of time to finish well.
